Resources

You don’t have to figure this out alone.
When you’re in survival mode, finding help isn’t just about knowing what exists — it’s about having the time, energy, and clarity to actually access it. That’s often the hardest part.
Anchor Point is here to help bridge that gap by turning “available resources” into real, reachable support.

Mental health & therapy support
Finding the right mental health support can feel overwhelming, especially when you don’t know where to start or what you qualify for.
We help you navigate it step by step.

  • If you have insurance: we help identify covered providers, including therapists who specialize in your specific needs (anxiety, trauma, postpartum support, depression, life transitions, and more).
  • If you don’t have insurance: we help locate low-cost, sliding scale, or no-cost therapy options in your area.
  • If you’re unsure what kind of support you need: we help you sort through options so you’re not guessing alone.
  • We can also help with scheduling and next steps so the process doesn’t stall out after the first search.

The goal is simple: getting you connected to care that actually fits your situation.

Housing support
Housing instability can feel like everything is happening at once.
We help break it down into manageable steps.

  • Finding emergency housing resources if needed
  • Identifying rental assistance programs
  • Connecting you with transitional or supportive housing options
  • Helping you understand applications and required documents
  • Assisting with referrals and next-step planning
  • Helping coordinate appointments or contacts with housing agencies when possible

We don’t replace housing authorities — we help you access them without having to navigate them alone.

Food & basic needs support
When basic needs are uncertain, everything else becomes harder.
We help connect you with:

  • Food pantries and local food distribution programs
  • SNAP / food assistance applications and guidance
  • Community meal programs
  • Emergency food support options when available
  • Local clothing closets or essential item resources

No one should have to choose between managing paperwork and eating.

Clothing & essential support
If you or your family need clothing or basic household items, we help locate:

  • Free clothing resources
  • Baby and maternity item support programs
  • Household supply assistance programs
  • Community donation-based organizations

We help identify what’s available near you and how to access it quickly.

Benefits, referrals & system navigation
A lot of support already exists — but it’s often buried in layers of applications, eligibility rules, and paperwork.
We help you:

  • Identify what programs you may qualify for
  • Understand application steps
  • Gather and organize required information
  • Get connected to the right agencies or referral pathways
  • Avoid getting stuck in application loops without follow-up

We focus on making the system feel less confusing and more usable.

What we actually do
Anchor Point does not replace emergency services, therapy providers, housing authorities, or government programs.
Instead, we act as a navigation layer between you and those systems.
We help you:

  • Find the right resources
  • Understand your options
  • Take the next step
  • Follow through when things feel overwhelming
  • Stay connected to support instead of getting lost in it

The intention behind this work
Support systems exist, but they often assume people have time, stability, transportation, emotional capacity, and clear direction.
Many people don’t.
Anchor Point exists for the moments when you’re trying to survive and organize your life at the same time — and that combination makes even basic tasks feel impossible.
We’re here to make the path forward smaller, clearer, and more reachable.

Getting started
If you need help, you don’t have to know exactly what you need first.
Start by reaching out. We’ll help you figure out the rest.
